Finch West LRT Asphalt Paving
IPAC Paving completed asphalt paving and road remediation work across multiple areas of the Finch West LRT project in Toronto. The work formed part of a large transit infrastructure program and was delivered over multiple construction seasons within an active, high-traffic urban corridor. The scope included partial-depth and full-depth asphalt removal, asphalt padding, granular and subgrade repairs, fine grading, roadway paving, cycle track paving, multi-use pathways, private and commercial driveways, temporary lane paving, access roads, parking lots, and Highway 400 ramp-related paving works. Because the work was performed within an active transit and roadway environment, IPAC coordinated with project stakeholders, utility teams, specialized contractors, traffic control crews, and quality control representatives. The work required phased construction, pedestrian management, lane restrictions, access coordination, site restoration, and careful sequencing around LRT rail and track signalization activities.
